Every once-in-a-while I just have to diverge from Mooresville Lake Norman Real Estate and share about why it is so wonderful to live in Mooresville and the greater Lake Norman area.  My restaurant reviewer/friend Kathy K just sent me this!

As much as I try to make my way around all of the Lake Norman area to try out new restaurants, Mooresville just keeps opening up these little jewels keeping me close to home and with the rising cost of gas these days I guess that’s not such a bad thing!
 
Fusion Bowl opened their doors a few months ago and I find myself going back just about every other week…it’s a fabulous dining experience!!  From the moment you step in to this upscale restaurant the visuals which include a huge waterfall, colorful light boxes on the ceiling, interesting art structures that separate the curved booths to allow for more privacy as well as a sushi bar will completely captivate patrons.

 
The Asian cuisine also includes sushi and sashimi as well as hibachi dishes.  Customers can even create customized stir-fry dishes choosing as many vegetables as they desire along with one main item such as shrimp, chicken, steak, etc., and rice or noodles along with a choice of one of five sauces.  I’ve created my own stir-fry dish several times now and have been completely delighted but I have to say, my favorite dish so far is the No Raw Sushi Plate.  It comes with a California Roll as well as several sushi pieces such as Smoked Salmon, Octopus, Egg, Eel and one or two others.

Service is top notch; I’ve yet to visit and not have a manager come over to the table to ensure everything is to my satisfaction.  Drinks are promptly refilled without having to request it and servers have been friendly though not all are as knowledgeable as others are about the dishes.
 
During my last visit a woman sitting near us had ordered the Cashew Chicken and after eating a few bites she noticed there were no cashews in the dish.  She asked the server if he could bring over a few cashews so she could add them in.  He apologized profusely took her dish and bagged it up for her to take home and brought her a fresh plate of the Cashew Chicken with plenty of cashews.  Not long after the manager rushed to her table to apologize.  I’m not sure whether or not she was charged for the dish but she looked very happy when she left.
 
Fusion Bowl is a tad pricey but it’s money well spent considering the entire dining experience. The restaurant has an extensive wine list. Its full bar includes specialty martinis, 10 hot and cold sakis and specialty Asian drinks
