How to get rid of unwanted catalogues and help the environment!1 comment »
Apparently, one of the benefits of shopping online is that you begin to receive myriad unwanted magazines and catalogues. It has gotten so bad for us that I have been thinking we were going to have to get a larger mailbox.
There is help! I just found out about two companies: Catalog Choice and Green Dimes that provide services that allow you to "Decline paper catalogues you no longer wish to receive; reduce the amount of unsolicited mail in your mailbox while helping to preserve the environment."
Just go to these sites: www.catalogchoice.com or www.greendimes.com. It is very easy to do! They recommend that you have your number from the mailing label so I am collecting a stack and then entering them into the system.
