Lake Norman Real Estate and NC Homes for Sale

If you haven’t checked out the newMooresville Town Square on the corner of Brawley School Rd. and Williamson Rd then you are definitely in for a great surprise!  With it’s upscale architecture, beautiful gardens and walking paths it reminds me a little bit of a Birkdale Village in it’s early stages.  While it doesn’t offer housing, this 200,000 square foot “lifestyle center” offers just about everything else!

The Restaurants:

If you are looking for authentic New York Style  Italian food, then you must try Cartucci’s Fine Italian Cuisne - Lounge. The owner explained to me how the original Italian immigrants in New York City developed their own style of cooking and that if you are from New York, you will definitely taste the difference in every item on their extensive menu.  The entree’s are reasonably priced from $11 for pastas, $14 for Chicken, $15 for Veal and up to $17 for their seafood. 

Already a big hit with the locals, the Fusion Bowl is just down the way from Cartucci’s.   They have a full Sushi Bar and extensive menu of Japanese and Asian cuisine.  I can highly recommend their chicken curry for lunch! I have a full Restaurant Review on this site as well: Fusion Bowl.

One doesn’t have to leave Mooresville now to find a fun martini bar.  The Red Eye Martini Bar has an airplane theme complete with first-class seats to a bar shaped like an Airplane wing.  Their signature martini, the Red Eye, combines Absolut pear vodka, pomegranate liquor and sour-and-cranberry. 

Indigo Joes  is Lake Norman’s only smoke-free sports bar! Inside you will find not just great food but a 50HD TV with wireless speaker boxes for your table, a huge patio with TV and fireplace (where smoking is allowed) and 20 ice cold beers on tap.  See my Restaurant Review below.

Shopping and Services:

Looking for all of the latest brands in jeans like Anlo, Black Denin, Citizens of Humanity, Diesel, Joe’s Jeans, Rock and Republic, Seven for all Mankind?  Walk right next door to Lavendars Boutique!  Awesome place to shop for hip, casual and more!  They just added a men’s department as well.

Need a house-warming gift, a wonderfully fun piece of jewelry or something special for a baby shower?  You will find an incredibly vast and eclectic selection of home furnishings and accessories, unique gift ideas and even adorable baby clothes and so much more at  Sweet Grass, Home, Gifts, You. 

If you are familiar with Aveda Salons, then you will appreciate that we now have Bella Lago Salon and Spa also located in the Mooresville Town Square.

Or, visit Georgio’s Salon and Spa.  Georgio Stylianou is known for his upscale, high quality of services.

The Scoop about Mooresville Town Square’s upcoming tenants:    It is well known the Lowes Foods Grocery Store will be coming to the new Mooresville Town Square. According to Pinnacle Properties, this Lowes will be high-end and is scheduled to open in July of 2009. 

Later this fall, a new wine bar and cafe called Revel’s Wine Cafe will be opening just up from Cartucci’s.  It will include outdoor seating and will overlook the NEW fountain which is choreographed to great music and dancing colors!  Other outdoor design elements include a children’s hedge maze, seating areas and an entertainment venue all in an effort to create somthing other than a standard shopping center…a place to enjoy.
