Learn about Life in Mooresville NC
Lake Norman's new Mooresville Town Square is coming to life!Leave a comment »
If you haven’t checked out the newMooresville Town Square on the corner of Brawley School Rd. and Williamson Rd then you are definitely in for a great surprise! With it’s upscale architecture, beautiful gardens and walking paths it reminds me a little bit of a Birkdale Village in it’s early stages. While it doesn’t offer housing, this 200,000 square foot “lifestyle center” offers just about everything else! http://www.bestrealestatelakenorman.com/004153 Posted on August 19, 2008 14:23:02 by Diane Aurit

Historic Downtown Mooresville: New shops, Art Galleries and Restaurants!Don’t let the last phase of the Historic Downtown Mooresville street beautification keep you from exploring and enjoying an amazing array of new shops, art galleries and restaurants! If you haven’t been downtown in just 6 months you will be amazed at the changes! Most of the historic buildings have had beautiful face-lifts, the sidewalks and crosswalks have inlaid bricks, the park next to the Mooresville Artist Guild Depot has brand new landscaping and there is new signage and lamp posts. http://www.bestrealestatelakenorman.com/003E75 Posted on July 12, 2008 12:53:18 by Diane Aurit

Lake Norman Real Estate: Our Schizophrenic CommunitiesWhen one thinks of our Lake Norman communities images of large estates on the water, new upscale shopping and restaurants, and a lifestyle revolving around the myriad lake recreational opportunities most likely come to mind .
But, on the east side of Lake Norman, the towns of Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Mooresville and Troutman truly have two distinct and very different personalities related to their location of the Interstate 77.
One has to remember that all 5 of these towns were originally founded along the path of the north/south railroad from Charlotte to Statesville long before Lake Norman was even created. http://www.bestrealestatelakenorman.com/003976 Posted on June 06, 2008 11:50:29 by Diane Aurit

A bit of Mooreville Lake Norman NC's history is lost to real estate development
For some reason this tiny, run-down old store touched me the very first time I saw it just after moving to Mooresville Lake Norman. I passed it every day for years as I drove back and forth on Brawley School Road, thinking someday I should stop, take a picture and peak inside. http://www.bestrealestatelakenorman.com/002EEE Posted on April 21, 2008 09:21:51 by Diane Aurit
