Lake Norman Mooresville Home Buyers; Stop Searching for Homes!Leave a comment »
I hear it all of the time from my Lake Norman home buyers: They simply can't find an effective way to search for homes that are for sale in the Lake Norman area. They try Realtor.com, all of the major national franchise sites and even local sites but simply get frustrated. Many times they use a combination of sites just to get the information they are looking for. Well, I am here to tell all Lake Norman area home buyers to STOP SEARCHING! The Charlotte Regional Multiple Listing Service which encompasses Mooresville and the entire Lake Norman area, provides a home buyer system called "Gateway" that enables me to create a custom search(s) for my buyers with their own website where they can prioritize their custom list of active homes for sale, delete the ones they don't like, make comments about the ones they do and even share information back and forth with me. http://www.bestrealestatelakenorman.com/003FD2 Posted on August 05, 2008 10:58:06 by Diane Aurit

Lake Norman Real Estate: How to learn about our area schools
Starting when I was in the sixth grade, my family was relocated across the country about every two years because of my father's job. Every time my father brought home the news of our next move, my mom would go into major research mode. The number one priority was always the school systems and then real estate.
If you are a parent contemplating a move to the Lake Norman area I'm sure you are also anxious to learn as much as possible about the various schools before you make a decision if or where to purchase a home. Thanks to the Internet, you can do most of the research from the comfort of you own home.
The first thing you should know is that there are 5 school districts surrounding Lake Norman. http://www.bestrealestatelakenorman.com/003F19 Posted on July 25, 2008 09:46:14 by Diane Aurit

Historic Downtown Mooresville: New shops, Art Galleries and Restaurants!Don't let the last phase of the Historic Downtown Mooresville street beautification keep you from exploring and enjoying an amazing array of new shops, art galleries and restaurants! If you haven't been downtown in just 6 months you will be amazed at the changes! Most of the historic buildings have had beautiful face-lifts, the sidewalks and crosswalks have inlaid bricks, the park next to the Mooresville Artist Guild Depot has brand new landscaping and there is new signage and lamp posts. http://www.bestrealestatelakenorman.com/003E75 Posted on July 12, 2008 12:53:18 by Diane Aurit

It's official; The Number of Newcomers to Lake Norman and Charlotte has slowed
What we have felt for quite some time here in the Lake Norman real estate market has been officially substantiated: The number of people moving to the greater Lake Norman and Charlotte region has slowed according to a Charlotte observer article: Signs suggest regional influx slowing. In Lake Norman we saw it first happening as much as a year ago when buyers planning to move to Lake Norman couldn't because they either were unable to sell their homes in the most hard-hit states around the U.S or hesitated to buy in a downward trending real estate market. Since about 75% of our Lake Norman real estate sales involve buyers from other regions or states, I think this impacted our market even more than Charlotte last summer and fall. http://www.bestrealestatelakenorman.com/003ABB Posted on June 16, 2008 17:18:14 by Diane Aurit

Lake Norman Real Estate: Our Schizophrenic CommunitiesWhen one thinks of our Lake Norman communities images of large estates on the water, new upscale shopping and restaurants, and a lifestyle revolving around the myriad lake recreational opportunities most likely come to mind .
But, on the east side of Lake Norman, the towns of Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Mooresville and Troutman truly have two distinct and very different personalities related to their location of the Interstate 77.
One has to remember that all 5 of these towns were originally founded along the path of the north/south railroad from Charlotte to Statesville long before Lake Norman was even created. http://www.bestrealestatelakenorman.com/003976 Posted on June 06, 2008 11:50:29 by Diane Aurit
