As much as I try to make my way around all of the Lake Norman area to try out new restaurants, Mooresville just keeps opening up these little jewels keeping me close to home and with the rising cost of gas these days I guess that's not such a bad thing!
 
Fusion Bowl opened their doors a few months ago and I find myself going back just about every other week...it's a fabulous dining experience!!  From the moment you step in to this upscale restaurant the visuals which include a huge waterfall, colorful light boxes on the ceiling, interesting art structures that separate the curved booths to allow for more privacy as well as a sushi bar will completely captivate patrons.

Life would not seem complete without great Italian markets and bakeries so you can imagine my excitement when I discovered Ferruccis Old Tyme Italian Market right here in Lake Norman!  (Yes, I know this isnt about real estate but once in a while I need to have some fun! Besides, I want to reassure anyone considering relocating here, especially from New York, that you will be able to get all of your favorite foods right here in Lake Norman).

Legends of Lake Norman in Mooresville is my new favorite place to nosh. 

They serve breakfast, lunch and an evening menu which includes Tapas after 4PM, a Sunday brunch, wine tastings on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and they have an extensive wine list as well as a full bar menu.  Also offered is a Coffee Bar which did quite a bit of walk-in business while my husband and I were there.  Thursdays through Saturdays they have a live band performing at 7PM.

  A Lake Norman Restaurant Review

131 Main  in Cornelius is the first of several to open in the greater Lake Norman and Charlotte area. 

The restaurant's decor falls somewhere between elegant and casual with neutral colors, large booths, plantation shutters and gas lighting fixtures on the walls, all of which add to the feel of sitting in a formal yet inviting enclosed sun porch.  The kitchen area can be seen upon entering the restaurant and appeared to be well organized and clean as did the entire dining area.  The bar area has a warm and cozy feel to it and the restrooms are impressive (my husband informed me that the men's room even has a flat screen TV behind a glass panel).
