Mark your calendars for the 2008 Cotton Ketchie Arts Festival being held in Historic Downtown Mooresville on August 22nd and 23rd!

Lake Norman Parents: Tax-Free Back-to-School August 1-3rd!
Today is a perfect day to be out on Lake Norman boating and playing, especially for our children who are on summer vacation. It's hard to believe that another year has gone by and that this Friday - Sunday are North Carolina's annual tax-free back-to-school days! Going Green in Lake Norman: Home tour today and Sunday, July 19 - 20th, 2008!
View a new "Earth Friendly" green home today, July 19th and tomorrow July 20th in Lake Norman! Pippin Home Designs has opened their "Live Green Project" home in partnership with Habitat for Humanity to raise money for Women's Build, a program to build adequate homes for mothers and children. The "Live Green Project" home is located at 7390 Gabriel Street in Sherrills Ford on the northeast side of Lake Norman.
